How it works
- 1Type your shop's name and choose how many stamps earn the reward: 6, 8, 10 or 12. The reward line fills itself in; change it to say exactly what the customer gets.
- 2Add a QR if you want one: your Google review link, your Facebook page or your menu. Or leave the card plain.
- 3Pick a size: a wallet card (85 × 55 mm, ten to an A4 sheet) or a large card (eight to a sheet) with room for bigger stamps.
- 4Download the PDF, print it on thick paper at 100% scale and cut along the grey lines. Mark each visit with a rubber stamp, a hole punch or your initials and the date.
Why it matters
A regular is worth more than a new customer: they come back without being asked, they bring friends, and they forgive a bad day. A loyalty card gives them one more reason to choose you over the shop next door, and all it costs is paper and ink. Most small shops do not need an app for this. A card in the wallet works on every phone, including no phone at all.
Keep the reward simple and reachable. Ten stamps for a free drink is a promise people remember; thirty stamps for a mug is one they forget. If you add your review QR, give stamps for purchases only, never for a review: Google does not allow rewards for reviews. For what to offer and how to tell whether it works, read a loyalty program for a small shop and how to know if your customers are loyal.
Frequently asked
- What is a loyalty card?
- A card that rewards repeat visits. The customer gets a stamp or a punch each time they buy, and a full card earns a reward, such as a free drink or a discount on the next service.
- How many stamps should a loyalty card have?
- Usually 6 to 12. Fewer stamps for a big purchase, such as a haircut; more for a small, frequent one, such as coffee. The reward should be reachable within a month or two of normal visits.
- Can I give a stamp for a Google review?
- No. Google's rules forbid offering anything in exchange for a review, and reviews given for a reward can be removed. Give stamps for purchases, and ask for reviews separately.
- How do I stop people faking stamps?
- Use a rubber stamp with your shop's name or a shaped hole punch, or initial and date each box. A custom stamp costs little at a print shop and is hard to copy.
- Is a punch card the same as a stamp card?
- Yes, it is the same idea. A punch card gets a hole for each visit and a stamp card gets a stamp. Print the card here and mark it either way.
