Free Google review QR code generator
Paste your review link and this free Google review QR code generator makes a print-ready code your customers scan to land straight on your review box — made on your device, nothing uploaded.
How do I make a QR code for my Google reviews?
Paste your Google review link into Mapkita's free review QR code generator and download the PNG. Keep the printed code at least 3 cm wide and test it once with your phone before you print a stack.
How it works
- 1Get your review link: find your business in the review link generator, or copy the short link under "Read reviews", then "Get more reviews", in your Business Profile.
- 2Paste it above and press Make the QR.
- 3Download the PNG or print the page. Keep the code at least 3 cm wide so older phones can read it.
- 4Scan it once yourself before you print a hundred: it should open your business with the stars ready.
Why it matters
The best moment to ask for a review is the moment a customer is happy and still in front of you: paying at the counter, collecting an order, leaving the chair. A QR there turns that moment into a review in three taps, where "please review us on Google" is forgotten by the time they reach the jeep.
Put it where people wait with their phone in hand — the counter, the receipt, the table tent, the bag sticker — not on the door on the way out. A code on its own does little; pair it with one line of asking. For what that line should say, and what Google does not allow, read how to ask customers for Google reviews.
Frequently asked
- Does Google have its own QR code for reviews?
- Google gives you a review link in your Business Profile, and some versions of the dashboard show a QR for it too. It is not designed for print, which is what this tool is for.
- How do I create a QR code for a Google review?
- Copy your review link, paste it into the box above and press Make the QR. Download the PNG and put it on anything you print.
- Where do I find my Google review link?
- Open your Business Profile while signed in to the account that manages it, select "Read reviews", then "Get more reviews". If you are not the manager, use the review link generator, which builds the same link from the public listing.
- Can I put the QR code on a receipt?
- Yes, and it is one of the best places for it, because the customer reads the receipt with the purchase fresh. Keep it at least 3 cm wide and print it in black on white.
- Is a review QR code against Google's rules?
- No. Asking for reviews is allowed. Offering a discount or freebie for a review, or only showing the code to customers you expect to be happy, is not.
