Terms of Service

Mapkita helps a local business manage its online presence: it reads your connected profiles, prepares work (review replies, profile updates, posts), and carries out the actions you have authorised. You decide which categories run automatically and which need your approval.

• You must be authorised to manage the business profiles you connect. Connecting a business you do not represent is a breach of these terms.
• You are responsible for the accuracy of the business information you give us — hours, services, prices and claims.
• Keep your login credentials secure; you are responsible for activity under your account.

You remain the author and publisher of everything posted to your profiles. We act on your instructions and within the autonomy level you set. You can pause all public actions at any time, and review the history of what was done.

Sensitive matters — health, safety, legal claims, refunds and allegations of discrimination — are never auto-answered and are always escalated to you.

You may not use Mapkita to:

• Create fake reviews, incentivise or gate reviews, or otherwise manipulate ratings.
• Publish false, deceptive or misleading claims about a business.
• Impersonate another business or person.
• Breach the terms of the platforms you connect (Google, Meta and others).

We may suspend an account that does any of the above.

The service depends on APIs operated by third parties. Those platforms control their own availability, rules and data. We are not responsible for their changes, outages or decisions, and a change on their side may alter or remove a feature. Mapkita is independent and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Google or Meta.

Paid plans are billed in advance at the price shown when you subscribe. You can cancel at any time; the cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We will give notice before any price change.

We work to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits or lost business.

We do not guarantee any particular commercial outcome — rankings, traffic, calls or customers depend on factors outside our control.

You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may terminate an account for breach of these terms, or if we discontinue the service, in which case we will give reasonable notice and let you export your data.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Philippines, and the courts of Metro Manila have jurisdiction over any dispute.

We may update these terms. Material changes will be notified to account owners by email before they take effect; continuing to use the service after that means you accept them.
