Free store hours sign maker

Type your hours and this store hours sign maker turns them into a printable sign for your door or window: days with the same hours grouped, in English or Filipino, with a note line for holidays and an optional QR for your Google reviews.

How do I make a printable store hours sign for my shop?

Type your shop's name and each day's hours into Mapkita's free store hours sign maker, choose English or Filipino and an A4 door or A5 window size, and download the PDF. Days with the same hours are grouped so the times print large, and you can add a QR for your Google reviews.

How it works

  1. 1Type your shop's name and set each day's opening and closing time, or untick a day to show it as closed. "Copy Monday's hours to every day" fills the week in one tap.
  2. 2Days with the same hours are grouped on the sign, so a busy week still fits in three or four lines: "Mon – Fri 8:00 AM – 9:00 PM".
  3. 3Choose English or Filipino, a heading, and a note line if you need one, such as "Open on holidays" or a lunch break.
  4. 4Pick an A4 door sign or an A5 window sign (two per A4 sheet), download the PDF and print it at 100% scale. Then set the same hours on Google.

Why it matters

A customer reads your hours in two seconds, often from the jeepney or across the street, and decides whether to come back. A clear, printed sign with big times does that better than a handwritten card that fades in the sun, and it is the first thing people check when the shutter is down.

The sign is only half the job: Google, your Facebook Page and the delivery apps must say the same thing, or customers trust the wrong one and find a closed door. Set the same hours everywhere on the same day, and add special hours before holidays with the holiday hours checker. What to write on a store hours sign covers the wording, holiday notices and where to put it.

Frequently asked

What should a store hours sign say?
Your shop's name, the days and opening hours with days that share hours grouped, and which days you are closed. Add one short note only if it matters, such as a lunch break or "Open on holidays".
How big should the hours be on a door sign?
Big enough to read from a few metres away: on an A4 sign the times should be at least 1 cm tall. Fewer lines means bigger text, which is why the sign groups days with the same hours.
Can I make the sign in Filipino?
Yes. Choose Filipino and the days, the heading and "Sarado" are written in Filipino, for example "Lunes – Biyernes".
How do I write noon and midnight on a sign?
In the Philippines 12:00 NN (noon) and 12:00 MN (midnight) are the clearest, and the sign writes them that way.
Do I also need to update my hours on Google?
Yes. Customers check Google before they leave home. Open your Business Profile, choose Edit profile, then Hours, and add special hours before each holiday so Google does not show that your hours might differ.

Your hours, right on Google too. Mapkita keeps them current.

Mapkita asks “Open on the holiday?” a week ahead and publishes your special hours on Google once you confirm. Start with a free check.
